Parent/Guardian Agreement

We thank you for your willingness to allow your teenager to be involved in this program. The Technician and Engineer program is a vital part of Camp Barakel. These students will work in areas that are very important to the day-to-day operations of Camp. It is our desire to not only receive help from them, but to also give something in return. We will attempt to make their work time enjoyable and as safe as possible, and also provide “free time” and group recreational periods as well. We will also provide daily chapel and devotional times in an attempt to give them Biblical instruction that will lead them to a strong relationship with Jesus Christ. I give full permission for my child to attend and work.

Technician and Engineer Character Reference

APP NAME HERE has applied for a position in our summer Technician and Engineer Program. The Summer Technician and Engineer Program (STEP) is for teens to assist in the day-to-day operation of the camp. The gals will be serving in the dining hall, camp store, laundry, lifeguarding and handcrafts. Jobs for the guys include wood cutting and hauling, lifeguarding, lawn mowing and dish washing. Though they won’t be directly supervising campers, they will have contact with them. Their character will be an example to the campers. Therefore each teen is asked to complete an application and provide a list of references. You were one of the people listed on that form.
