Steve and Audrey are parents to Jennifer, Kristie, Sarah, Allison, and Joanna. Steve performs technical maintenance. Together they head up the summer technician and engineer program. They came to Barakel in 1987 and are from Merson Church, near Allegan, Michigan.

To all our brothers and sisters in Christ:
Many of you are already aware that we are leaving staff at Camp Barakel. We just want to take a minute of your time to say how much we have appreciated getting to know you, and minister to you over our years here at Camp Barakel.
We have had many terrific years of ministry to and along side of the thousands who come through the front gate. Our own lives have been impacted tremendously by the seed sown by Uncle Johnnie decades ago.
We have had the opportunity to sow seeds of our own in the lives of the Techs and Engineers and it has been good to see some of that seed begin to bear fruit. Thanks for entrusting your teens to us.
Our last official work day is February 15, and we will be gone from Camp by early April. We trust that God will bring those needed to fill our shoes here.
We appreciate your prayers as we seek what God has for the next part of our journey.
